(Thomas's POV)

    I turned around to see one of those things on (y/n)'s back, cackling insanely as (y/n) thrashed around, trying to dislodge it.
    Thomas? Thomas, what's happening? Lacie's voice crackled through my phone, then it died. Dammit! I knew I should've left it on the charger last night. Throwing my now useless phone away, I lunged at the creature that clung to (y/n)'s back. It's horrible cackle was cut short as I drove my fist into it's ugly face. We're both breathing heavily, (y/n)'s hand was rubbing his neck which was now turning purple.
    "(y/n), are you alright?" He turned away from me. "I'm fine." his voice was small. We left the office quickly, an awkward silence falling over us. A thought kept turning in my head.
       I saw him blushing.

(Your POV)

    You wanted to die! You were certain Thomas had seen you blush when he asked that question. You couldn't help it, his voice was so soft, beautiful. Now he probably thought how gross you were!
    You were so caught up in your little pity party, it startled you when Thomas suddenly slapped his hand over your mouth and pulled you into a janitor's closet.
    "Sh." He pointed down the hall, at the nurse's office. You looked--- and felt all the blood leave your face.
    Possibly half of the student body and almost all of the staff were now turned into zombies and they all were trying to get into the nurse's office.

(Thomas's POV)

    Oh God. Lacie was in the middle of all that!
    I look down at (y/n) as he crouches beside me. His eyes were trained on his hands, and I knew that he was deep in thought. Then, he looked at me, and I knew I would hate the plan.
